Trek through the narrow rock walls and soak in the breathtaking scenery of Avakas Gorge. Be prepared to climb over some big rocks and step carefully on slippery stones as the gorge gets narrower. You might even spot mountain goats along the way. The best time to visit is during the spring when the wildflowers are in bloom. Avakas Gorge is also less than 15 miles from Paphos, making it a fantastic day trip from the city.
